Original Tools of the Trade
The Informer Magazine was designed by Tripple in QuarkXPress® 3.31 on a Power Macintosh® 5200 CD with a 600MB hard drive, 12MB Ram, and an external 100MB iomega® zip drive. Some text and artwork was manipulated in Freehand® 5.0, while photographic manipulation was done in Photoshop® 3.0…Check it check it!
Current tools of the Trade
The Informer Magazine is designed and coded by Tripple in HTML 5 using CS3, Javascript, JQuery, and Bootstrap. Current production hardware and usability testing devices include a Windows laptop, iPhone, iPad and a 500GB WD MyPassport USB drive. Some text and artwork is manipulated in Adobe Illustrator® Creative Suite Cloud, while photographic manipulation is done in Photoshop® Creative Cloud and published on a self-hosted current version of WordPress open-source CMS.
