This is the third album under the belt of the 'East Bay Gangsta' and Spice brings the gangsta shit better than ever. Known in the rap game for his murder rhymes, Spice 1 gives the people what they want and sticks with what works. Unfortunately, the 'kill this nigga, blast that nigga,' stories are a little hard to take over and over again. But, with the excellent production and skillful delivery by Mr. Spice, there is an album underneath all of the blood and guts that’s a winner by any standard.
Spice 1 has serious rhymin’ skills and is one of the best at what he does. I found a lot of the tracks enjoyable like “Doncha Runaway”, “Hard to Kill” (featuring Method Man), and “Strap On the Side.” Gangsta Rap lovers will eat this one up and regular Hip-Hoppers who appreciate Spice 1's lyrics won’t be disappointed. Spice 1 is one of few in the 'Gangsta Rap' genre with real lyrical skills. He also gets props for not changing his style despite intense criticism. Amerikka’s Nightmare is a “Gangsta Rap” lovers dream!
